I used to stop their regularly until the guy admitted over the phone to overcharging me, and then was rude on top of it- didn't even offer to refund the money. I won't stop there even if I'm running on fumes.

for being a little ways out from any other choice, I'm gonna say the prices on fuel were great. I stayed the night in truck lot very quite. The owner/ employees were super friendly and the tacos were tasty. I'll be back whenever I travel this way.

Great place to stop. Good food and part of the dining area is an old dining rail car inside the store. Quiet truck parking for a good night's rest. If you happen to catch the owner inside you can learn some neat history of his truck stop and diner.

Truck parking is dirt, but it's a quiet lot. You have to cross a cattle guard to get there, which can be difficult to find after dark if you haven't been here before. They also allow RVs to park for one night. Gas pumps look old, but work fine. The people at the restaurant are wonderful, and the food is decent, priced lower than Denny's, and filling. Bathroom fixtures are old, but clean. It's not a Flying J; it's its own thing. The world would be better with more small businesses like this in it. Also, when they heard I was planning to drive south to Las Cruces, then west to Tuscon, they showed me maps of the Hatch-Deming shortcut, which saved me a lot of time and gas. They were also friendly to my small children.

One the best diners me and the family have eaten at. The home fries are the best. Will definitely eat here again!!!
